I have been busy and loving it. So we are broke and can't pay our bills but at least I can keep my sanity.

I was all alone on one beautiful saturday, feeling sorry for myself so what did I do...I sewed a quilt top in three hours. Here it is for all the football fans to see ....by the way there are more coming!

Years ago I went on the journey,the journey of finding the right fabric for my mom. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and my hero. She has patience like no other, loves like no other and prays like no other. She believes in me and the only thing I can do to repay her is to make this quilt for her with her faviorte flowers. Mom knows best.

Finally the spring semester is coming to an end. I am tired and burned out and I am looking forward to a summer off. Three more and than next monday it is over.

My son made a pillow for his girlfriend so I came up with the idea to make her a quilt that would go with it. Here are the results, even our grizzly like it.

It has been a long road. This semester seems to be never ending, with lots of up's and down's and I am tired. So this next week I actually have three days off. Which means I will be able to sew a bit, clean the house, and maybe even work in my backyard for a little bit. I am ready for some relaxation. Or maybe I should be doing this But then on the other side i think i will just enjoy my teenager and do something with them!!!
