For our four legged friends

After a couple of interesting days in a hospital I had to come home. Amazing was the welcome I got from our loyal four legged friends? Cats around my feet, not that that helped the dizzy woman I already was but the dogs thought they had to rush towards me...I bet they were thinking SHE IS HOME SHE IS HOME...So instead of walking into the house like a normal person...I turned around and showed them my backside first. My husband gave me an awkward look and asked: "Really butt first?"
Normally, this would have been funny and I would have laughed, because the scenario was funny.
Then the dogs noticed something is different,  a tube hanging to the side of my body for liquid to draining out of my body.... both stopped, stared and then walked away. What suddenly happened?

They welcomed me, but in a cautious way. My cat that always jumps in my lap has not done it once. The dogs that sit either under my legs or sleep in my bed, they have not been visiting. Coincidence? I think, they just know that I am in pain and they need to be careful around me. Would they act this way if a member of their pack is hurt? Not having that knowledge I just scratch their back a little more and give them an extra treat,  because Mia and the rest of the gang deserves to be acknowledged.

World meet MIA, the most careful dog in the world. All she did is put her paw up to the recliner and lay her head down to tell me she missed me.
I had to take a couple of minutes to brag about  #mydog
